Andrea is a senior professional with extensive experience in management and senior management roles, including service at Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) level. Her career is distinguished by leadership of high social-impact projects and international consulting work in legislation, education, mobility, and road safety.
Her professional approach is grounded in strong moral principles and professional ethics, with an emphasis on respect, honesty, accountability, and a dedicated commitment to public service.
She holds advanced academic and professional qualifications, including certification as an Expert in Road Safety Management and Direction from CIFAL Madrid, UNITAR, and the European University. She is qualified as an Attorney in Law and Social Sciences from the University of Law and Social Sciences in the Republic of Uruguay and hold a Master’s degree in Government and Corporate Financial Administration from Barna Business School.
In addition, she is an officially authorised technician accredited by the Ministry of Economics Planning and Development of the Dominican Republic for the identification, formulation, and evaluation of public-sector investment projects. She is also qualified as a Road Safety Technician with a specialisation in child safety through Safe Kids Worldwide, and have completed the Latin American Leaders Program (Levels I and II) at ESADE Business School in Barcelona.
Andrea’s professional experience spans more than 25 years in leadership roles within mass service organisations in the public sector, alongside over 25 years of dedicated work in road safety and mobility. Since 1997, she have led the design, implementation, execution, and management of road safety campaigns at both national and international levels.
She served as an advisor to the Government of Mexico, working with the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation, and have advised the Ecuadorian Traffic Police on school transportation as part of a project supported by the CAF – Andean Development Corporation. Her advisory roles also include collaboration with the National Transit Institute (INTRANT) of the Dominican Republic.
She is a member of Safe Kids Worldwide and the National Statistics Office (ONE) of the Dominican Republic, and have acted as Project Manager for road safety and community promotion initiatives in Mexico and Uruguay.
