The FIA Foundation draws on the expertise of a number of external informal advisors to support our work.
The US Public Policy Advisory Group is an informal voluntary group which provides advice to the FIA Foundation on road safety, sustainable transport issues and general US public policy as it pertains to the international agenda. It also aims to encourage advocacy to promote international road safety as a priority within the US, and it provides guidance on the FIA Foundation's relations with relevant US government agencies, Congress, and transport, environmental and public health stakeholders in the US. The members of the Advisory Group have all had distinguished careers in fields of US transportation policy. The Advisory Group is chaired by former Foundation trustee Marilena Amoni, a former Associate Administrator of the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
