Eddy Merckx and Michael Schumacher launch Belgian Think

The Royal Automobile Club of Belgium (RACB) promoted its Think Before You Drive campaign at the Belgian Grand Prix in Spa-Francorchamps on Friday, 9 September. Belgian cycling legend Eddy Merckx came to the circuit to support the road safety campaign. The five times Tour de France winner tried the FIA Foundation’s seatbelt slide and then took part in a press briefing alongside seven times F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher and the FIA Foundation’s director general David Ward. The RACB/Bridgestone campaign in Belgium has been supported by the Belgian traffic police, who have organised roadside tyre checks alongside Think Before You Drive campaign staff.
