The team working on Bridgestone’s ‘Think BeforeYou Drive’ campaign has won this year's internal company annual ‘Corporate Achievement Award’. Usually, the two million Yen prize (equivalent to €13,000 Euro) is shared by the winners, however, the Bridgestone TBYD team agreed that the award should be used to support the ‘Make Roads Safe’ campaign in order to reduce the road death around the world. The team, led by Ken Hara (Corporate Communications) and Andy Davies (Sales & Marketing Bridgestone Europe), therefore, decided to donate their prize to the FIA Foundation.
The prize was presented to the FIA Foundation at a special ceremony attended by the President and CEO of Bridgestone, Shoshi Arakawa, The President of the FIA, and the Director General of the FIA Foundation, David Ward.
