New test results for the environmental performance of cars have been published by the German automobile club ADAC.
The Eco Test programme, co funded by the FIA Foundation, rates passenger cars for toxic emissions and CO2 emissions and awards star ratings for their performance. The Toyota Prius, a petrol/electric hybrid, remains the top performing car overall. The Eco Test is intended to provide consumers with independent information to assist purchasing decisions.
