The IIHS publishes report listing driver death rates by vehicle make and model
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has published a Status Report rating the risk of dying in one vehicle in a collision versus another. The report draws on analysis carried out on driver death rates in vehicles in relation to vehicle body style, size and weight.
