A national Think Before You Drive road show was launched by Formula One driver Tiago Monteiro at a press conference hosted by the ACP - Automóvel Club de Portugal – in Lisbon on September 27th. The automobile club has teamed up with Bridgestone to take the campaign around the country during October, with events planned in Lisbon, Oporto, Viana do Castelo, Coimbra and Algarve.
The Portugese Think Before You Drive campaign is also being supported by the national road safety organisation PRP - Prevenção Rodoviária Portuguesa – and Rádio Renascença, a major national radio station.
