The FIA Foundation’s Annual General Meeting was held in Rome on October 27th 2005. The membership of the Foundation, consisting of more than 140 national automobile clubs from 95 countries, received the charity’s annual reports and accounts and reelected officers and trustees.

The meeting also heard presentations on the Think Before You Drive campaign, including a detailed presentation on the road safety situation in Kenya and a film of the Brazilian launch of the campaign. Members were also briefed on the forthcoming UN Road Safety Week in 2007. The meeting coincided with the centenary celebrations of the Automobile Club of Italy (ACI).
