A seat belt campaign has been launched in Hungary by the Magyar Autoklub, with the support of the Ministries of Health and Transport. Backed by the FIA Foundation and the Global Road Safety Partnership, the campaign aims to improve seat belt use in a country which saw a 15% increase in road fatalities last year.
The campaign was launched on 8th April at the Hungarian Health Ministry in Budapest. An FIA Foundation seat belt slide will be touring the country to drive home the seat belt message. TV adverts and posters on roadside hoardings will also be used to raise awareness in the five month campaign.
