Giant electronic messages on major city streets and seat belt advice leaflets distributed from motorway toll booths are two of the methods being used by the Brazilian Automobile Association to mark World Health Day 2004. The Governor of Sao Paulo State will officially launch a Road Safety campaign on April 7th 2004, to coincide with World Health Day. In the first phase of the campaign the electronic adverts and magazine ads have been displayed and 1.8 million leaflets have been printed for distribution. Banners are being erected alongside motorways and a TV advertising campaign also begins on 7th April.
