The UK Parliament is reviewing road safety looking at future policy-making post 2010 and key issues such as high casualty rates among young people. The latest Transport Committee hearing was wide ranging taking evidence on issues such as: Sweden's Vision Zero and whether it can be applicable in the UK; road safety and its benefits to the economy; the impact of poor road design on safety; and driver responsibility.
