Support the Decade of Action for Road Safety

Every six seconds someone is killed or seriously injured on the world’s roads. In 2010 the United Nations launched the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 with the goal of reducing this appalling toll of human suffering.

The FIA Foundation supports the Decade of Action by funding innovative injury prevention programmes through grants to strategic partners and enabling global advocacy efforts through a grant to the Make Roads Safe campaign. We are also an active member of the UN Road Safety Collaboration.

Together with the World Health Organization, the FIA Foundation also manages the Road Safety Fund which directs funds and facilitates alliances for a range of donors to support road injury prevention programmes in countries and communities across the world.
